- Wire the control service and send_message tool into every shipped
composition with a resumable provider and background enabled
(headless-agent, tui-agent, and the SDK helper's subagent feature
base resources); jsonrpc-agent disables background and is unchanged.
- Resolve the send_message availability check in the CALLER's tool
scope so a restriction that removes the follow-up tool from one
agent also blocks that agent's continuable start.
- Control-service disposal now cancels live activations and awaits
producer settlement instead of stranding them: TaskService keeps
producer Tasks across a reload, so the disposing service aborts each
activation-owned controller, resolves its terminal gate (the
effect-scoped onTaskDone listener is already gone), and awaits done.
A new test kills a mid-start activation through HMR disposal.
The shipped-roster change made @deepseek-ai/dsh-tool-session-query a
default row of the shared base.cordis.yml, so the TUI and Web surfaces
put the five session-search tools in front of the model. That
contradicts the recorded opt-in stance for the model-facing session
query consumer; the ACP example remains the mounted reference.
Remove the row from the shared base, the now-dangling disabled patch in
the opt-in core-web profile, and the workspace dependency. The
ctx.sessionQuery index stays: the TUI's /resume and the Web content
search consume it directly. Both shipped-composition tests now pin the
20-tool catalog.
Windows-native execution foundation: PwshLocalExecutor implements the bash
executor seam over ctx.subprocess (pwsh -NoLogo -NoProfile -NonInteractive
-Command, one argv element, no quoting layer; resolvePwshPath probes
PowerShell 7 / PATH / Windows PowerShell 5.1 as a pure function), and
tool-pwsh is the minimal PowerShell-dialect model-facing tool over ctx.bash
(foreground only, managed DSH_* env, timeout/signal/exit markers, terminal
and generic presenters). Both packages carry full suites (real pwsh,
self-skipping without it) at per-file 100% coverage; vitest's Windows
exclusion narrows from packages/bash/* to the bash-requiring packages so the
pwsh suites run natively on Windows too. The CLI gains the workspace deps
and tsconfig projects without mounting either plugin; the Windows-default
roadmap is recorded as a proposed Agent Note.
The two shipped surfaces offered different tools for no recorded reason:
session checkpoints, tool-result pruning, the goal tools, and Ralph were in
`tui.cordis.yml`; `tool-todo` and web search were in `web.cordis.yml`. Neither
offered session search, a string-replacement editor, or a repeat-tool guard,
though none of the three is surface-specific.
Move the rows that are not surface-specific into `base.cordis.yml` and add
those three. Web search moves there too — the TUI decision the change that
made it a Web default deferred. Both surfaces now assemble the same 27 tools.
This adds only. No row is removed from either surface and no existing row's
configuration is edited: executors, sandbox composition, access defaults,
`tools.mode`, and the workflow tool are exactly what they were. Two rows stay
surface-specific: `tmux-context` (no terminal multiplexer in a browser) and
`session-reference` (its index has one writer owner).
Ship `dsh-mcp-client` as a dependency without a row: the plugin mounts one
server per instance and `command` is required, so a default would name a
third-party server and spawn it outside `ctx.bash` on every launch. The CLI
README carries the YAML for mounting one from a personal config.
Boot the real dsh web tree against an in-test OTLP/HTTP collector and a
mock LLM server, drive one turn over /api, then SIGINT. Asserts the wire:
OTLP JSON structure and resource identity, both instrumentation scopes,
ledger event coverage in seq order, prompt fidelity in the exported body,
the first-of-step chunk projection, and the ops shutdown marker arriving
through the exit drain.
Mount the existing telemetry seam + OTel logs backend in the web/headless
config tree so every session-log event streams to an OTLP/HTTP collector:
- telemetry-otel row: url defaults to the standard local OTLP endpoint,
DSH_TELEMETRY_OTLP_URL overrides; 10s batch cadence; exporter/processor
values bound the shutdown drain to ~1s against an unreachable collector
(timeoutMillis doubles as the retry deadline, single-batch drain).
- DSH_TELEMETRY_DISABLED opt-out: AppCLIEntry patches the row disabled
before boot (config alone cannot disable a row, and exporter.url
validation is load-time fail-loud).
The master merge moved the TUI composition into `apps/cli/config/base.cordis.yml`
and I carried the `settings-local` / `credentials-local` rows across without
adding them to the resolver manifest. Bare specifiers in an app config resolve
through that manifest's dependencies, so the whole tree failed to boot:
dsh: plugin(s) failed to load: @deepseek-ai/dsh-settings-local,
@deepseek-ai/dsh-credentials-local
which took every TUI PTY smoke with it. `verify-cordis-config` did not catch
it, so the boot smoke was the first signal.
Conflict resolutions:
- `session.list`: master's projection columns fold into the PR's cancellable,
batched `listVisibleSessionSummaries`, which `session.search` shares as its
visibility baseline; master's goal helpers stay beside it.
- Client sessions face: master narrowed `ctx.sessions` to `ISessions`, so the
search verb and its protocol-constant bound are declared there and the
test-runtime double implements them (recorded, empty page unless a scenario
stubs hits).
- `WorkspaceBrowser`: master's per-row Rename wiring rides the PR's search
results view; the tree keeps the PR's query-free derivations.
- `dsh web` bin: the PR's shutdown-handlers-before-readiness order with
master's boot-time LAN address snapshot.
- `session-query-sqlite`: master's `SCHEMA_VERSION` 7 stands; the PR's bump
carried no schema change.
- Specs: master wraps assistant/steering message payloads and requires an
`application/json` carrier request, so the search fixtures and tests follow.
- Web aria goldens keep master's recording plus the PR's search placeholder;
the navigation-panes inventory keeps master's terminal-card golden next to
the PR's search-results golden.
