Rewrite the Agent Note's stale 'TUI has no web arm' claim to match the
web fallback branch this PR added to transcript.ts. Replace the hardcoded
line-number comment with a symbolic reference, and mark the web arm's
unreachable optional-chain undefined side with a reasoned v8 ignore for
the per-file 100% branch gate.
Route a `web` result card's raw-content fallback through the TUI's dim
Markdown path (render() only recognized `card: 'generic'` as markdown
content, so web fallback rendered as bare undimmed text).
Memoize renderFetchOutput per (result, maxOutputChars) so the registry's
twin output.render / output.presentationMeta calls on the same frozen
result run one HTML->markdown conversion instead of two.
Remove the trailing `</content>`/`</invoke>` protocol residue from both
sides of the web-result-card Agent Note and re-record the pairing.
- webCardModel returns null for an unknown web `kind` (wire from a newer host)
instead of drawing it as a malformed fetch, matching the unknown-`card` and
terminal-model wire-boundary default.
- Fixture WEB_SEARCH_RESULT/WEB_FETCH_RESULT and the source type derive from the
contract's ToolResultView via Extract, so a new contract field fails at the
type level rather than drifting silently.
- built-boot smoke asserts the web_search/web_fetch turns render their keyed
WebRow cards, giving the registration and wire projection an assembled check.
- DetailsPanel comment no longer claims the card omits content for search.
- ui-primitives README inline-Chinese limitation now lists WebBlock's controls.
Address the code-review bot findings on the web result card:
- web_fetch's card truncated now derives from the shared renderFetchOutput
helper, matching the effective truncation the model-facing text reflects
(provider cap, source cut, or output cap), instead of the provider-only flag.
- Drop the redundant content copy from both web result views; a UI without the
web capability falls back to the raw tool/result content. Narrow the TUI
transcript view.content access accordingly.
- Set the result-state title from the call args (query/url) so a window-
truncated replay keeps a title.
- Project meta from the seam result types rather than hand-rolled value types.
- Sync the card vocabulary across core tools README, docs/core-data-structures,
the adding-a-tool cookbook, and the tool-web package README (both languages,
re-recorded pairings); regenerate the cordis api-catalog and cordis-inspect
snapshot; revise the Agent Note.
- DetailsPanel: render the flattened result content below the web card, so a
web_fetch's fetched body (and a search's answer/source markdown) stays
visible on the panel's single-call reading surface — the card is a summary.
- WebBlock: the collapsed source tail keeps each source's original citation
number via <li value>, and the expand control is a marker-less <li> so the
<ol> is valid HTML; an empty-hostname URL (file:/data:) falls back to the raw
URL so a label is never blank.
- web-row / GenericToolCard: both spread WebBlock uniformly with maxSources
(fetch ignores it, like TerminalBlock's maxLines), dropping the duplicated
per-kind conditional.
- Docs: WebBlock added to the ui-primitives README (both languages) with a Web
retrieval section; the ui-conversation README's "inline licensed for this
intent alone" claim de-absolutized and a web-card paragraph added; the Agent
Note's safe-link description corrected to the http(s) subset of MarkdownText's
allowlist (mailto excluded). Fixture source comment aligned with its data.
- Tests: ol numbering + marker-less expander, empty-hostname label fallback,
the fetched body visible in the panel.
- .loadingFloat moved after the .status/.error block (its padding was
losing the same-specificity race) and re-anchored bottom-right: the
truncated/error rows own the bottom left and keep rendering through a
scan, so the pill can never cover them; confirmCreate's relist now
clears the stale failure text like every other scan launch.
- The close edge resets loading, so the slow-scan effect disarms while
hidden and a reopened dialog waits out a fresh silence window
(regression test added).
- The truncated note's survival through a scan is now asserted in the
slow-scan test; the wait-bound test moved to fake timers with the
200ms bound explicit.
- select()'s exemption from the one-frame rule and the constants' local
calibration premise are recorded in JSDoc and the capability-seam
Agent Note; the themed-scrollbars note's rebinding enumeration is
replaced by a pointer to the mechanical gate (it had drifted twice).
Both pairs re-recorded.
The loading pill's layer-2 background made the sheet an
elevated-surface painter, and the ui-theme scrollbar invariant rightly
flagged what was already latent: the dialog's columns scroll on an l2
card while the thumbs rendered in the base-surface pair. Rebind the
indirection on the card rule so it inherits to the scrolling columns.
Navigations keep the previous view rendering while scanning: target and
parent legs land as one two-pane frame when the parent leg settles within
a 200ms wait bound (past it the target lands alone and the late leg
upgrades in place; Escape inside the landing window withdraws the
navigation). The loading indicator floats over the content on the card
background and appears only once a scan outlives a 300ms silence window,
so navigation never shifts the columns or flashes an intermediate frame.
The truncated note now describes the on-screen panes instead of hiding
during scans.
Consume the card:'web' result view (structured sources + answer for search, the
URL and HTTP status for fetch) the web backend PR added. WebBlock
(ui-primitives) draws both kinds via the kind discriminant: a citation list of
safe external links (the MarkdownText protocol allowlist, title-or-hostname
label), a truncation indicator, a height cap matching TerminalBlock; a fetch
summary for the other kind. web-card-model is the single resultView derivation;
a keyed WebRow registers under web_search and web_fetch with the card resident
under its summary. The generic fallback and the details panel are web-aware.
Fixture gains web_search and web_fetch turns for the built-boot snapshot.
web_search and web_fetch returned only model-facing text, whose markdown source
list is lossy (title-or-hostname label, snippet and date concatenated), so a
client could not recover the structured sources. Add a card:'web' result view
with a kind discriminant ('search' carrying structured sources + answer +
truncated, 'fetch' carrying url + statusCode + truncated), projected through
each tool's output.presentationMeta and read back in presentResult. A UI
without the web card falls back to content; the TUI is unchanged. The web
consumer is a follow-up.
