The automation bridge inherited two master-era assumptions the message
machine no longer honors. A prompt blocked at pre-turn admission opens no
turn, so no turn/end could ever settle it — the bridge now watches
whenIdle() and reports a turnless slot as cancelled (the disposed-agent
guard moved to a registry identity check before send). A failed turn no
longer rejects at its turn/end either: agent.retry() closes the failed
turn and opens a successor on the same history, so the bridge holds the
terminal error and lets a retry-triggered turn/start adopt the prompt,
rejecting only at quiescence with no successor.
Also: refresh the empty-response-retry fixture for retry-as-turn logging,
adapt master-side tests to the unified send()/UserMessageData API and
registry-fact disposal, resync the doc pairs both sides touched, trim
architecture.md back under its word ceiling, and regenerate the event and
persistence catalogs.
ui-sidebar shell landed on master (#643: geometry-only shell, the
browsing region moved to the sidebar.workspaces slot); this branch's
sidebar.settings foot seat re-applies on top — the hardcoded foot row
becomes the seat, the seat rides the railIn crossfade, and the shell
spec's renderSlot stub key-splits region vs settings.
The branch edited the English side of 17 doc pairs without their Chinese
counterparts. Bring every .zh.md up to date (loop.ts references now point
at agent.ts, send/steer/inject unification, context/message folded into
user/message, HookContext replaced by UserMessageData in tool decision
blocks, plan/skill delivery moved to agent/step) and re-record the pairing
hashes. Deduplicate type-equiv.manifest.json entries duplicated by the
master merge and drop entries for symbols the refactor removed. Complete
the missing JSDoc on extractSnapshotSpillPaths.
concludesTurn is terminal: a completed step now carries the concluded fact
to the driver, which ends the turn immediately instead of letting steering
that arrived during the tool batch (or from an agent/stopping listener)
reopen it. The steering is not lost — it drained into the log as
steering/message before the decision point, so it feeds the next turn's
request. Also annotates the driver's unreachable invariant guards
(exhaustiveness default, abort-slot ownership) for the coverage gate.
Generated docs follow the ui-models rename and the removed
ui-settings-general package; the English note side picks up the
feature-owner self-registration doctrine.
- rename same-title no-op moves inside the serialized creation chain
- insertSessionBefore maps only the typed WorkspaceMoveInvalidError to
workspace-move-invalid; storage failures stay internal
- workspace upsert rejects snapshots older than the installed projection
- flat-mode empty state shows when the query hides the intent row
- intent row no longer forces group expansion; header twist stays live
- group-by menu rides a portal; menu clicks stop propagating to the row
- intent row uses the same single-slot indent in both list modes
- regenerate cordis api/catalog + doc graphs
Regenerate the module-graph/config-catalog/event-graph docs for the
locale rename and new packages; allowlist the three settings READMEs;
complete the RFC code block and add its English pair. Cover the
ThemeService media-query paths (stubbed matchMedia) and mark the
unreachable registry fallback. General section re-registration now
judges presence on the slot ledger instead of a local disposer, which
went stale when an HMR collapse removed the entry.
Sidebar session list grows the figma 239-10458 feature set and the
workspace/session browsing region moves wholesale into ui-workspace:
- Group-by menu (WorkSpace / In one list): flat mode lists every session
top-level, strictly newest-first; the choice persists across reloads.
- Session rows get a 500ms hover detail card (title / relative time /
status line) and a ... menu (Rename / Fork session / Delete session,
visual-only for now); workspace headers get ... with Rename (wired) and
Delete workspace (visual-only).
- workspace.rename RPC: trims, rejects duplicate titles on the create
chain (workspace-name-conflict), no-op on same title; modal dialog with
client-side duplicate pre-check.
- workspace.insertSessionBefore RPC (DOM-insertBefore semantics, omitted
anchor appends): HTML5 drag reorder of root sessions inside a workspace
group; order truth stays host-side, the view refreshes from the
response/changed frame.
- Activity pinning removed: the session/event touchSession chain is gone;
workspace accounts are manually owned (new sessions prepend, explicit
reordering only). Contracts and tests updated, api catalog regenerated.
- ui-sidebar reduced to the column shell (brand, fold state machine, New
Session, Settings) exposing one sidebar.workspaces hole with a two-fact
owner share {wide, expandSidebar}; ui-workspace owns the whole region
(header, search, grouped/flat lists, dialogs, drag) plus the picker via
a shared WorkspaceCreateFlow. The old sidebar.workspace picker slot and
its deferral indirection are gone.
- ui-primitives: Menu gains label entries, danger rows, and
closeOnPointerLeave; new HoverCard (portaled, open-delay, disabled
guard). Hover card and row menu never coexist.
Integrate the Commander adapter with master's `dsh web --workspace-root`
(workspace-aware session flow).
- args.ts: add `--workspace-root <path>` to the web subcommand; WebInvocation
carries workspaceRoot.
- web.ts: keep the adapter-parsed signature, take (host, port, dev,
workspaceRoot) and pass workspaceRoot through to AppCLIEntry (drop master's
re-added parseArgs and CLI host/port validation — the schema owns those).
- bin.ts forwards invocation.workspaceRoot; args.spec + the Agent Note pair note
the flag.
Integrate the Commander adapter with master's headless rework (dsh -p now boots
through AppCLIEntry — the same cordis.yml composition as dsh web, web-observable
while it runs — via toFetchHandler(ctx.apiProxy)).
- headless.ts: keep master's AppCLIEntry-based body but take the adapter's
pre-parsed `task` (drop the re-added parseArgs). Old startHost path and the
now-deleted packages/host/runtime dependency are gone.
- remove the stale packages/host/runtime dir left on disk by master's deletion
(mirrors the earlier packages/ui/acp cleanup).
Drop the bare `dsh <config>` positional in favor of a `--config <path>` flag.
Without a root positional, `web` can be a real Commander subcommand in one
program instead of the reserved-first-token dispatch to a second parser, so
`dsh --help` lists every mode natively (no hand-pasted command text) and the
second parser + reserved-token machinery are gone.
Grammar:
dsh TUI (shipped tree + ~/.dsh overlay)
dsh --config <path> TUI, alternate tree (demos/tests only)
dsh --resume <id> TUI, resume a session
dsh -p "task" headless one-shot
dsh web [--host --port --dev]
`dsh` is the product front door with no positional; `--config` exists only so
demo:cordis, demo:code-mode, and the keyless PTY smokes can point the shipped
bin at an example tree. Those three sites and the /resume re-exec argv move to
`--config <path>`. The `-p` + `--config`/`--resume` mode-mixing guard and the
cordis.yml-owns-host/port-default fix are preserved.
Agent Note + Chinese pair, README, tui.ts docs updated. All 13 PTY smokes
(including code-mode via --config and the exec-replace resume handoff) green.
Coverage: api-proxy.ts joins the web-transport exclusion block (its
behavior specs moved here with it; the assembled-entry coverage lands with
the GUI test lane). Static: config-catalog regenerated after the log-round
revert shifted a source anchor. Prose brought current per review: the cli
README now describes the one shared composition (and its build
prerequisite), the apiproxy README points at the api-gateway row instead of
the deleted runtime package, and the config-tree agent note's headless
deferral paragraph records what actually landed (bilingual pair
re-recorded).
dsh -p now runs AppCLIEntry over the same cordis.yml as dsh web — one
composition, no disabled rows, no layer marks. The only surface difference
is port 0 (parallel runs never collide), and the printed URL opens the live
headless session in a browser while it runs. The model face gains what web
already had (ask_user_question, workspace context, model titles) per the
unification ruling. InProcessApiClient now wraps toFetchHandler(ctx.apiProxy)
directly, so bootHost/startHost lose their last consumer and the
dsh-host-runtime package retires; its api-proxy behavior specs move to
dsh-host-apiproxy where the implementation lives.
